Position : Engineering Manager
LOCATION: Trivandrum
Responsibilities will include:
• Managing offshore engineering team
• Client interactions and relationship management
• Responsible for offshore project delivery
• Accountable for account/project profitability
• Manage projects simultaneously in multiple domains / technologies
• Preparation of project estimate for client submission
• Project plan preparation, implementation and tracking
• Responsible for engineering resource allocation, resource management and resource utilization
• Performance appraisal and objective setting for team members
• Responsible for recruitment, competency development and promotion of engineering resources
• Periodic status reporting to senior management
Qualification:
• 4+ years of experience in IT
• 1+ years of experience in Project Management
• 1+ years of experience in People Management
• BE/Btech CS/ECE preferred
Requirements:
• Good leadership quality, assertive and results-oriented
• Should have sound technical knowledge
• Should be able to ramp up a new technology, lead the project and mentor team members if needed
• A go-getter with a positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good negotiation skills and convincing ability
• Should have managed a project team of 5-10 resources
• Experience in handling HR related issues of team members
• Willing to travel onsite on a short notice
